Speaking to a large group of people, many of whom may be strangers, can be a daunting prospect. There's also the added worry of not knowing whether you'll be able to speak in public when you're feeling sad and emotional. Some people choose not to have a eulogy simply because they don't feel confident enough to present one.

I hope I can make things easier for you at this difficult time by offering various options that will allow you to pay tribute to the person you've lost without adding to your anxieties.

Presentation option A
If you're happy to speak in public with the support of a pre-written speech, this option will probably suit you best. I'll write the eulogy for you using the information you've given me. I'll then email it to you so that you can read it on the day.

Presentation option B
Although you may be happy to deliver the eulogy yourself, you might welcome guidance on how to express or emphasise some of the points. If so, I can email you a pre-recorded MP3 file of the eulogy. This will allow you to hear how it should sound when it's read out loud. I will email the sound file at the same time as the eulogy, so you'll have plenty of time to practise.

Presentation option C
You may feel you're too upset to read the eulogy yourself, or you might be anxious about speaking in public. If this is the case, I would be willing to present the eulogy on your behalf as part of the funeral or memorial service. Using a professional eulogist will allow you to remain seated with your loved ones, listening to the eulogy that you have chosen, without the pressure of having to get up and deliver it yourself.

Each of these options falls into a different price bracket. Before you decide which one is best for you, please check the prices and payment page to make sure you're happy with the cost.
